‘Kwansan’ is a pink, double-flowered ornamental cherry, blooming in May before the foliage emerges. Foliage is a medium green, highly serrated leaves. Fall color is excellent, turning from yellow to orange and red in October. The tree itself is vase-shaped, an excellent form for a focal point in the garden or as multiple trees planted along a driveway or walkway to form an allee.
